One Shoulder + Ruffle Top

One of the things I have been trying to do more of this Spring is trying more trends that I normally otherwise might write off. For instance, this top is super cute and I love a good off the shoulder or one shoulder top, but initially the ruffles got to me. Don't get me wrong, I love feminine pieces and details so much, but ruffles have never been a go to for me. I kinda assumed they just added volume in an unflattering way and looked a little, unnecessary..? But, like I said, I have been trying to incorporate styles I'd normally walk past and never think twice about. So, when I was in Zara the other day, I saw this top from across the room and immediately tried it on and loved it! The frills are a lot, but they are balanced out with the one shoulder, showing some skin and making it feel a bit more sexy and fun. One thing I really love about Zara is the fact that you can try different trends, done well I might add, for a fraction of the price that you could get off the runway. Literally, designer pieces are north of 3 figures, but this top was $50. It's not so scary trying different styles when you don't invest so much money, because lets be real, no one but a select few would be trying out the trends. So hats off to Zara for creating quality and stylish pieces for the masses. Alright, check out this top and let me know what you think in the comments below!
